Coach O'Grady has now been in Cincinnati for over 15yrs, after growing up playing hockey just outside of Toronto. Hockey has always been a part of his life, hitting the ice as a player at age 5, playing competitively through early 20s, before jumping onto the bench for the past 30+years.

After the standard hockey school and developmental programs, he began to play AAA travel hockey for Brampton (just outside of Toronto) from age 8 through Minor Midget. These later years were also used to play for his High School Varsity team and then onto Ontario Junior A, for the Dixie Beehives.

Coach O'Grady began coaching back in 1984, while still playing. Helping with local 10yr old House Select and 6yr old Developmental Program. This continued through the graduations of his two sons (now off in College). While in Canada, he brought two teams to the All-Ontario Provincial finals (as Bantams). Here in the USA, having several successful years as Head Coach of the Cincinnati Cyclones (1997s), from Squirt through Minor Bantam (including Silver Stick Regional championships and multiple BTHL championships).

Coach O'Grady is Level IV certified within USA Hockey, along with Coaching Levels within both Hockey Canada and USA Inline.
